Our security teams work closely with event coordinators and on-site security teams to customize a security plan specific to each event location. If necessary, local resources are utilized to provide additional support. In addition to on-site security personnel and translators, on and off-site medical services are arranged, as well as executive protection needs and any secure transportation required to and from the event. Protocols for emergency response and crowd management are also developed specifically with local law enforcement and international teams for each event site.
Each event receives a comprehensive facility assessment to assess building security needs, including improvements to existing security features. Any weaknesses identified in this process are addressed through recommendations for improvement. Suggestions for cost reduction or streamlining of security will also be flagged, such as recommendations to reduce the number of entry points as a means of lowering security costs while improving security management. Post event, our team will also conduct meeting room sweeps, collecting any left-behind personal items and sensitive or proprietary materials.
Our operational teams have the local security experience needed to provide event security in destinations around the world. Global Guardian employs security professionals with specific regional and cultural knowledge, as well as language skills and local contacts, to deliver effective event security and emergency response in any of the 140+ countries we serve. We also familiarize our teams with the local US Embassy protocols and work with law enforcement to understand reaction time and the threat assessment of the surrounding area as well as any “off-limit” areas or neighborhoods that event attendees should avoid.
