Global Guardian assisted in the recovery, clean-up, and rebuilding efforts for multiple clients in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael.
Hurricane Michael was the third-most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall in the United States in terms of pressure. The hurricane made landfall on October 12th, and Global Guardian immediately dispatched personnel to three key client locations to provide medical support. Over the next six days, Global Guardian sent a total of six teams to 15 separate facilities, providing ad-hoc emergency medical and security response assets as required. The highly trained teams secured commercial properties, delivered supplies to churches, and provided protection at schools.
Global Guardian’s domestic network of highly-trained ex-military emergency response specialists are located throughout the United States and are available to clients at the push of a button. These teams were the first response assets to land in the affected areas, and in many circumstances, arrived prior to government support.
