Global Guardian successfully conducted an urgent emergency medical response and coordinated the safe evacuation of a senior executive traveling in Madrid, Spain. Upon notification of the client emergency, Global Guardian activated its US-based physician team to begin coordinating treatment with local medical staff and deployed a regionally-located, highly-trained medical advisor to assist on-site.
Once the patient was stabilized, Global Guardian made arrangements to transport the patient back to the US for surgery at his home hospital. The traveler was transported under the care of Global Guardian’s medical team and was accompanied by a traveling medical escort. Within 24 hours of suffering the injury, the patient was home and under the care of his primary care physician and local surgical specialists.
