Global Guardian’s Air Ambulance team utilized their Emergency Medical Evacuation services to quickly and safely evacuate a client traveling in Latin America.
To prevent potential exposure to COVID-19, the member traveling initially delayed flying home to the United States on available commercial air options. Within a few days, all incoming and outgoing flights of both commercial and private nature were halted due to border closures, leaving the member stranded with limited options to return to the US.
The Global Guardian team was alerted to the situation and within 24 hours of first contact, the team was able to work with government authorities and their local security team to attain visas, landing permits and clearances in order to dispatch the jet and medical team. The member was safely returned home without issue.
