Global Guardian’s Air Ambulance team utilized their Emergency Medical Evacuation services to quickly and safely evacuate a client traveling in Latin America.

Global cases surpassed one million on 02 April after the U.S. recorded nearly 30,000 new cases. The U.S. now has nearly 250,000 confirmed cases amid community spread in at least 46 states. New York remains the hardest hit state in the country. Cases in the U.S. are doubling every three to four days and there are approximately 1,000 deaths per day. Models predict this number will peak at 2,600 deaths per day on 16 April before starting to slowly decline.

President Trump warned the American public that the next two weeks could be "very painful" as cases continue to grow across the country.

uAs confirmed cases in the U.S. approach 150,000, several states have issued guidance for travelers arriving from areas of outbreak clusters.

The U.S. overtook China for the most confirmed COVID-19 cases after a 17,000-case spike on 26 March. The U.S. now has over 85,000 confirmed cases, outpacing Italy and Spain as well. New York has the most cases, primarily due to high rates of testing - the state accounts for almost half of the total cases in the U.S.

Since Sunday, Global Guardian has evacuated over 300 US Citizens, bringing them back home to safety as borders close amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. 

The number of confirmed cases in the U.S. is over 55,000 and growing fast. As a result of this rapid growth, at least 17 states have issued stay-at-home or de-facto shelter-in-place orders: Washington, Oregon, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Indiana, West Virginia, Louisiana, Connecticut, New Jersey, Ohio, California, Illinois, New York, Delaware, Michigan, Massachusetts, and Hawaii.
